I'm sure you'll agree they were pretty straightforward right? Today we are looking at a slightly more complicated set of verbs. The irregular verbs. The key to learning these verbs is to have a look at how the verb stem changes. Irregular verbs are harder to conjugate and the best way to learn them all is to keep doing things to cement them in your memory. Decir -----> diciendo / saying Ir -----> yendo / going Pedir -----> pidiendo / asking Venir -----> viniendo / coming Dormir -----> durmiendo / sleeping Let's look at a couple more sentences to make this clearer for you. El esta viniendo a la casa / He is coming to the house Estamos yendo a los Estados Unidos / We are going to the USA I hate to sound like a broken record, but make sure you listen to these audio clips until all the conjugation and sentence structure begins to click.
